It is tough to explain but you will get the idea if you download the guide. You can look for Points of Interest in whatever category you want or just browse around the map.

If you click on a symbol it tells you some things about the particular point of interest. Just basic stuff like the name of the hotel, the address and in many cases the phone number. For example: |

This is London around the area of St. Pauls. You can see a couple of tube stations or bus stops marked along with a restaurant and also some historical sites.

This is Amsterdam showing some of the main canals. This time you can see a great deal of restaurants and some hotels as well.

This is Paris around the Arc de Triomphe. Mainly transport (the metro) and a few hotels this time.

This is Madrid near one of the main Plazas (Plaza de Armeria). Lots of restaurants and lots of historical buildings to see.

This is Rome around the area of the Coloseum. Historical sites and a bit of transport. Not a good example for restaurants, there are not that many around this area.
